Church Logo & Vision

What is our Vision & Core Values?

Vision is what we 'cherish'; Core values are our 'endeavors'. '
Vision
"To become a church that serves our neighbors and embraces the world."
Following Acts 1:8, we aim to serve our community--much like Jerusalem and all Judea--with the Gospel and love by receiving power from the Holy Spirit. Also, we are preparing for reunification with North Korea--our Samaria--and want to embrace all nations--the ends of the earth. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
The Ministry Plan of 2018
Matthew 6:9-10
This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’”(NIV)

- We will develop and activate the areas in which our seniors can serve at home and abroad.
- We will take care of those further advanced in age and those who fall ill.

5. Revival comes to our members in their 30s and 40s.
- We will raise up and nurture our members in their 30s and 40s through the well-established parishes for them.
- We will help and raise up new members, newlyweds, and married non-believers.
- We will also disciple them by proactively visiting their workplaces and finding new ways to serve them directly.

6. The Kingdom of God comes through active church planting.
- We need to overcome the limits of church planting experienced by our former pastors thus far.
- We will actively support church planting by embracing reliable pastors.
- We will carry out active church planting by commissioning out to overcome the numerical growth and space constraints of our members.

7. The Kingdom of God comes into an active communication among our members.
- We will activate communications among departments as well as generations through on and off-line mediums.
- We will activate communications through our church conferences.
- We will activate communications through the partnering of our church committees.

8. The Kingdom of God comes into serving our various neighborhoods.

- We will take care of our members who fall ill and their family.
- We will serve our neighbors through the ‘Neighbor-Invitation Festival’.
- We will activate stronger neighborhood serving through our ‘Happy Sharing Festival’.
- We will expand our sharing service through church bazaars.
- We will activate stronger neighborhood serving through the welfare, the community service, the domestic missions, and the medical missions committees of our church.

9. The Kingdom of God comes into our missionary efforts for North Korea and other nations.
- We will expand our understanding of North Korea through the ‘Reunification and Missions Academy’ and continue to expand the basis for mission work.
- We will expand the bases for helping and serving North Koreans in need through developing mission works for them.
- We will help North Korean defectors who can act as catalysts for reunification and serve their churches.
- We will look for those devoted to North Korea mission works and expand the base of them.
- We will encourage our missionaries by visiting their mission sites.
- We will expand our heart for further mission work by supporting foreign missionaries.
- We will reach out to foreigners in our country through strategic and missional plans.

- Greeting

In the name of our Lord God, we welcome and bless everyone who visits the website of NamSeoul Presbyterian Church.

Our church wishes to serve our neighbors and communities by renewing and saving peoples through God's words and worship.

We especially anticipate that the precious Cross of Jesus not only makes us born again and live new lives but leads those changed by the Cross to heal the sick and to renew our communities.

We'd like to become a church like that, so we ask for your prayers. Also, I wish you to be so blessed as to become such saints.
