Church Logo & Vision

What is our Vision & Core Values?

Vision is what we 'cherish'; Core values are our 'endeavors'. '
Vision
"To become a church that serves our neighbors and embraces the world."
Following Acts 1:8, we aim to serve our community--much like Jerusalem and all Judea--with the Gospel and love by receiving power from the Holy Spirit. Also, we are preparing for reunification with North Korea--our Samaria--and want to embrace all nations--the ends of the earth. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
The Ministry Plan of 2020
ZEC 4:1~14
~ He answered, “Do you not know what these are?” “No, my lord,” I replied. So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

1. To make every effort in our individual spiritual lives
- We will repent of habitual sin and restore our relation with God.
- We will secure daily time in prayer, bible reading, and bible meditation and participate in weekday and Saturday early morning prayer services.

2. To construct a new educational building and to secure alternative meeting spaces.
- We will come to agreement over the architectural plan and space arrangement with educational love and philosophy
- We will compensate for inadequate building space by opening our own houses.

3. To corporate worship services in God’s abundant grace
- We will participate in Sunday and other corporate worship services, and engage our Wednesday parish worship services.
- We will make every effort to participate in our small group ministry.

4. To build households of faith and to educate the next generation
- We will regularly engage in family worship service together with our children
- We will strengthen our Sunday and Midweek Bible Schools by connecting our education with home life and parents and by securing solid teachers

5. To nurture our senior ministry and our young family ministry in God’s abundant grace
- We will activate the areas in which our seniors can serve at home and abroad.
- We will reorganize and advance our senior parishes to better nurture and care for the elderly and those who fall ill.
- We will help the ones who attend church alone among new members in their 30s and 40s, newlyweds, and married couples and expand our ministry to their workplaces.

6. To advance in fellowship and communication among our members and make every effort in serving our various neighbors.
- We will enable communication between departments and across generations and activate communications through our church conference and the partnering of our church committees.
- We will continue to help our members and family members who fall ill and our neighbors in need and make every effort in evangelizing through the ‘Neighbor-Invitation Festival’.
- - We will serve our neighbors through church bazaars and the welfare and community service, the domestic mission, and the medical mission committees of our church.

7.To advance in helping and serving North Korea and in mission works to other nations
- We will expand our understanding of North Korea through the ‘Reunification and Missions Academy’ and in helping North Korean defectors and their churches.
- We will look for those devoted to North Korea mission works, encourage our missionaries by visiting their sites, and expand our heart for further mission work by supporting foreign missionaries.
- We will reach out to foreigners in our country through strategic mission plans.

- Greeting

In the name of our Lord God, we welcome and bless everyone who visits the website of NamSeoul Presbyterian Church.

Our church wishes to serve our neighbors and communities by renewing and saving peoples through God's words and worship.

We especially anticipate that the precious Cross of Jesus not only makes us born again and live new lives but leads those changed by the Cross to heal the sick and to renew our communities.

We'd like to become a church like that, so we ask for your prayers. Also, I wish you to be so blessed as to become such saints.
